A massive first inning propelled the Henryetta Knights to a dominant 13-0 victory over Meeker on Tuesday.
Henryetta sent a barrage of batters to the plate in the opening frame, scoring 10 runs on a mix of timely hits and patient at-bats. EJ Glover, Blake Silkwood and Boston Morris each drove in runs, while Blaze Hill added a two-run single. Hunter Bowdler capped the inning with a three-run double.
The Knights continued to build their lead in the second and third innings, eventually stretching the margin to 13-0.
Haiden Kaler earned the win with an impressive performance on the mound, allowing just one hit over five shutout innings while striking out four.
Offensively, Bowdler led the team with three RBIs, while Silkwood and Kaler each recorded two hits. Henryetta also showed exceptional discipline at the plate, drawing 10 walks, including three by Will Perez.
Defensively, the Knights were flawless, committing no errors, with Mavrix Randleman leading the way with six fielding chances.
Henryetta was back in action Thursday as they traveled to Regent Prep.
