This is all that is left of a house that was destroyed in a fire Sunday afternoon. On Sunday, the C Shift of the Okmulgee Fire Department had a multi-structure fire in the area of Seneca & Alabama, which was due to the extreme heat, manning and low water pressure. The original structure and separate garage were a total loss and the neighboring structures were stopped short of burning down. Seven firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion. Mutual Aid of manning and water supply was given by Henryetta, Preston, Morris, Wilson, Schulter and Dewar FDs, Okmulgee County EMS, Muscogee Nation EMS and Mercy EMS. There were no injuries to the occupants. (Patrick Ford/Times)
