This report is a summary of activities Okmulgee County Emergency Management participated in and does not reflect all activities performed by or participated in by Okmulgee County Emergency Management.

— Meetings & Coordination • Attended the Board of County Commissioners meeting.

• Participated in the EMSAT Monthly Board Meeting.

— Safety & Training

• Conducted safety meetings at District 3 and District 1.

• Began implementation of SafetyPlus Edge for safety training and incident tracking.

• Held a virtual meeting with the SafetyPlus Edge software developer to discuss utilization of additional system features.

• Continued SafetyPlus Edge implementation over the next two weeks for District 2, Courthouse and Sheriff ’s Office staff.

— Grants & Projects

• Began work on the District 2 Unpaved Road Project Grant.

— Reporting & Compliance • Completed Oklahoma Department of Labor annual injury reports for 2025 for Districts 1, 2 and 3.

— Emergency Response & Fire Activity

• Responded to four of the 13 grass fires that occurred throughout Okmulgee County.

• Confirmed Okmulgee County is not currently classified under Moderate Drought conditions.

— Severe Weather & Emergency Operations

• Monitored a severe weather system that moved through Okmulgee County on Thursday.

• Activated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to support coordination and situational awareness during the event.
