Joe Elbert Thornburgh, longtime Tulsa resident, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, in Tulsa at 89 years of age.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 12, 2026, from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Okmulgee Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Joe’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon-winters.com.
