The Okmulgee County Community Garden is planning a workday this Saturday, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for garden members and friends. Lunch will be provided.

According to Garden Executive Director Bob Seebeck, new raised beds have arrived and need to be assembled, and there is work to be done on the songbird garden immediately north of the resource center.

Other areas of the garden need attention going into the cold winter months ahead of the expansion project.
