The Okmulgee Elks Lodge is once again stepping up to help local families during the holiday season with its annual Christmas Food Basket program. Applications for this year’s assistance will be accepted on two dates

Residents in need of a holiday food basket can apply in person at the lodge, located at 701 S. Mission in Okmulgee.
Application dates and times are as follows:
• Monday, Dec. 1: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Dec. 3: 1-3 p.m.
Applicants are asked to come prepared with the following documentation:
• Photo ID
• Utility Bill
• Valid Phone Number The Elks’ annual Christmas outreach provides local families with essential food items and pantry staples to help ensure a warm and meaningful holiday season. The program serves dozens of households each year and is built on the organization’s long-standing mission of community support and service.
Anyone wishing to apply is encouraged to arrive early, bring the required documents, and complete the application during one of the scheduled times.
