A 43-year-old Okmulgee man is facing serious felony charges after being booked into custody Aug. 30.
Daniel Bryant Mc-Caslin is currently being held on $110,000 bond stemming from multiple charges, including aggravated possession of child sexual abuse material and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
According to court documents filed in Okmulgee County District Court (Case No. CF-2025-138), McCaslin has been formally charged with Count 1: Aggravated Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, a felony under Oklahoma Statute 21 O.S. § 1040.12a.
District Attorney Carol Iski alleges that between June 15, 2025, and the present, Mc-Caslin “did willfully and with knowledge of its contents, possess in excess of one hundred (100) separate materials depicting child sexual abuse material,” including digital and computerized images. The charge meets the aggravated standard due to the quantity and nature of the content, which significantly increases the severity of the case.
In addition to the aggravated possession charge, McCaslin is also facing a second felony count of unauthorized use of a vehicle. Bond for the charges is set at $100,000 for the possession charge and $10,000 for the vehicle charge, totaling $110,000.
McCaslin remains in custody. When he was arrested, authorities found him inside the old Peanut Factory on Severs Street.
His next scheduled court appearance is Oct. 9, in Okmulgee County District Court.
This case was a coordinated investigation between several agencies including the OSBI Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police, Tulsa County Sheriff, and Creek County Sheriff ’s Office.
