Big Brain Trivia Night raises over $12,000

Okmulgee Main Street is thrilled to announce the success of its 2025 Big Brain Trivia Night, held Saturday, Aug. 2, at OSUIT’s State Room. Fourteen spirited teams came together for a night of friendly competition, food, fundraising and fun – raising more than $12,000 to support the ongoing work of Okmulgee Main Street.

For the second consecutive year, Harlan Ford claimed the coveted title of Trivia Champi- ons and will retain the traveling trophy for another year. Tate and Lyle proudly earned the trophy for Low Scoring Team.

The event was made possible through the generous support of Round Sponsors:

• Mabrey Bank

• Eco-Link

• Muscogee Nation Tourism

• Tate and Lyle

• Patrons Bank Guests enjoyed exciting auction opportunities that raised additional funds for the cause. Special thanks to the live auction donors:

• Snake Creek Shooting Range

• Funky Blessings

• Tate & Lyle

• Chef Ron L’Heureux

• One Fire Casino

• Duke Rentals And to the silent auction donors:

• Okmulgee Main Street Board Members

• Nails by Loree

• Sweet Magnolia

• College of the Muscogee Nation

• Stewart Martin of Okmulgee

• Just Dirt

• James Allred and Emily Oldham

• Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce

• Circle K Horse Riding Lessons “We are so grateful to our sponsors, donors and participants who came together to make this year’s Trivia Night such a success,” said Johnna Yoder, Executive Director of Okmulgee Main Street. “The funds raised will directly support our efforts to revitalize downtown, preserve our history and create opportunities for growth and community connection.”

Okmulgee Main Street thanks everyone who attended and supported this year’s Big Brain Trivia Night – from team members to volunteers – and looks forward to welcoming teams back next year for even more fun and fundraising.
