The Preston Pirates put on an offensive showcase Monday evening, dismantling the Oilton squad 20-0, thanks to an extraordinary 19-run first inning that set the tone for the rest of the game.

The Pirates wasted no time in seizing control, with Kaden Dean kickstarting the onslaught by singling in a run. What followed was a relentless barrage of hits, walks, and defensive miscues by Oilton that allowed Preston to pile up runs at will. Key contributions came from across the lineup, with Hunter McElhannon and Ricky Henson each driving in two runs with timely singles, and Weston Cope adding two more with a powerful double.

Bradley Winford played a pivotal role as well, singling twice in the same inning and driving in a total of three runs. Kaden Dean capped off the inning’s scoring with a two-run triple, leaving Oilton struggling to recover.

On the mound, Karson Herbert delivered a flawless performance, holding Oilton hitless in his one inning of work. He struck out one and walked one, ensuring that Oilton never had a chance to gain any momentum.
