Applications still being accepted for weekend event
Folks still shopping for those on their Christmas lists will want to visit the 2nd Annual Last Stop Christmas Shop Craft Fair. Almost 20 vendors are offering a wide variety of unique items, most ideal for Christmas, at the fair sponsored by the Okmulgee First United Methodist Church. The event is in the Rowe Family Life Center on west 8th Street from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9.
“We’re very excited about the vendors we have participating this year,” Kay Rab- bitt-Brower, coordinator of the event said. “Most of the items are hand-made, and the result of many hours of detailed work by extremely talented people.”
Rabbitt-Brower stated that food trucks and a bounce house have been added this year.
“Boss’N Hogs Barbecue, and The Lamb and the Wolf (Gréèk Mediterranean) will be there both days, while The Coffee Gait will be there Friday, and Frost Bites & Java Delights will be there Saturday,” she said. “We will also have an inflatable from OK Bounce available for the kids.”

She explains two booth sizes are available: 10’x10’ for $40 or 10’x20’ for $80. Electricity is available on a limited basis and at no cost, but the request needs to be noted on the application. Vendors are responsible for their own tables and chairs.
“The weather is supposed to be nice, so we’re inviting everyone to come and do some Christmas shopping, along with enjoying some delicious food and drink items,” Rabbitt-Brower said.
