Quilt Show begins today

It’s finally here! Get ready for a fantastic showcase of creativity and craftsmanship this weekend at the Scrap Happy Quilting Guild’s eagerly awaited Craft Show. Aptly named the “Quilt Upon a Star” Quilt Show, this event promises to be a mesmerizing display of quilting artistry.

With a total of 85 en- tries this year, each quilt tells a unique story, woven together with inspiration, memories and imagination. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or someone who simply appreciates the beauty of handmade art, this event will surely captivate and get your creative juices flowing.

This Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Muscogee Dome located at 200 Preston Dr. In Okmulgee at the junction of Hwy 75 and Fairgrounds Rd., the ‘Quilt Upon A Star’ quilt show is poised to become a haven for quilting enthusiasts and art aficionados.

Tickets ($5 admission, free for kids) for the Quilt Show will be available upon entry, giving you the opportunity to witness firsthand the dedication that goes into each masterpiece. Not just an event; but a celebration of the human creative turning fabric into dreams. See you there!
