Okmulgee High School Coaches James and Michelle Quinn are hosting a tennis camp again this summer next week.

The Youth Tennis Academy will be held June 12-15, at the Hawthorne Park Tennis Courts on North Okmulgee Street.

There are two sessions planned, with a 20 student max for each group. The first is for ages 7-11, from 99:50 a.m. and the second is from 10-11 a.m. for ages 12-18.

Last year, a camp was held with members of the Oklahoma Tennis Association and Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame sharing skills with a number of campers.

There is also a need for donations to help keep the campers hydrated.

“We are looking for donations for snacks such as individual chips, snack packs, bananas, apples, clementine oranges, fruit chew snacks, bottled water, and Gatorade powder,” the Quinns stated. “If you would like to donate or have any leads we would appreciate it.”
