GCTC Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Green Country Technology Center (GCTC) is proud to announce the successful graduation of its Summer 2024 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) cohort.
The June 20 ceremony was a joyous occasion that celebrated the hard work and accomplishments of eight dedicated students.

The evening was a testament to the perseverance and commitment of the graduates, who were surrounded by family, friends, and faculty in a heartwarming celebration.
The graduates – Angela, Ashley, Atlanta, Courtney, Kelsey, Kortney, Makayla and Tonette – were honored for their dedication to their studies and their passion for patient care.

“We are incredibly proud of our Summer 2024 LPN graduates,” Anthony Nieto, Marketing & Communications Coordinator at GCTC, said. “Their hard work and determination have been truly inspiring. We look forward to seeing the significant impact they will have on the healthcare field as they embark on their new careers.”

The ceremony included inspiring speeches from faculty and special guests, reflecting on the journey of the graduates and their bright futures ahead. “This graduation marks a pivotal moment in the lives of our graduates,” added Nieto. “Their commitment to excellence in patient care will serve them well as they step into their roles as healthcare professionals. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”

In addition to celebrating the graduates’ accomplishments, the evening was marked by a special and unexpected moment. Makayla, one of the graduates, received a surprise proposal from her partner, Aries, in a touching gesture that was met with cheers and applause. Green Country Technology Center extends its heartfelt congratulations to all our graduates.

Looking to become an LPN? Our January cohort is now accepting applications. For more information about GCTC and our LPN programs, please visit www.gctcok.edu or call 918-758-0480.
