Mack Davis, Jr.
Mack Davis, Jr. passed away Monday, October 5, 2020, in Okmulgee. He was 76 years of age. Mack Jr. was born to Mack Rufus and Elouise (Dorroh) Davis on August 8, 1944, in Tahlequah. Mack went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree at Northeastern State University. He then became a teacher and taught science/history and social studies at Ryal Public Schools for 25 years. He was huge a history buff, loved to camp and fish at night on his boat at Dripping Springs. He loved watching old John Wayne movies. He was playful and good hearted and liked to joke around. Most of all he loved spending time with family.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents Mack, Sr. and Elouise Davis; brother, Silas Davis; sisters, Stella McIntosh, Ella Miller, Sylvia Johnny; and his first wife Sina Davis.
He is survived by a daughter Quannah Davis; and stepson Greg Tran; uncle Jackie; nieces Pam, Sonia, Mandy and Melinda; extended family Tracy Kiehl, and Terri; and his best buddy Charlie Hawkins.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Silver Springs Church. Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel Monday, October 19, 2020, from 5 to 8 p.m. for viewing.
