Jerry Russell Sullivan
Jerry Russell Sullivan, 77, passed peacefully from this life on May 22, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nev. at Mt. View Hospital after complications from surgery. His daughters Amy and Jill were by his side as he took his last breath and went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jerry was born on March 31, 1942, in Phoenix, Ariz. to James Claud and Ethel (Moyer) Sullivan. He was a 1960 graduate from Chaffey High School in Ontario, Calif. He had three daughters, Tracy, Amy and Jill. He married June DuCharme in February 1987. Jerry worked as deputy sheriff at the Okmulgee Police Department in the 1970s. He loved to travel so he later became a truck driver working for various companies including Ball Brothers, Coca-Cola, and Treat Trucking. He was an active member of Hilltop Foursquare Church in Kingman, Ariz.
Jerry leaves behind his wife, June, Kingman, Ariz; two daughters Amy (Sullivan) Nichols and husband Scott, Las Vegas, Nev and Jill Sullivan, Okmulgee; son-in-law Gordon Moore, Sullivan, Ind.; step-daughter Janelle Lenkey, Ontario, Calif., step-son Johnny Faber, San Clemente, Calif.; grandchildren Brandy Repsher, Tony Moore, Faith (Nichols) Battles, Baylie Dearman, Jonathan and Ashley Nichols, Jordyn and Chandler Lenkey, JJ Faber; five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Claud and Ethel Sullivan; brothers Lee Roy, Jimmy, Charles, Arley, Carl; and sisters Shirley, Juanita, and Inez; and his oldest daughter Tracy (Sullivan) Moore.
A Memorial Service will be held June 29 at Hilltop Foursquare Church, 2215 Emerson Ave. Kingman, Ariz.
Desert Mortuary of Las Vegas, Nev., handled the arrangements.
