Okmulgee County’s jobless rate, along with the rest of the state, skyrocketed during April, according to figures released Wednesday by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health announced Monday the COVID-19 data tracker, at coronavirus.health.ok.gov, will continue reporting the active and recovered cases by county only. City, zip code, or long-term care and nursing home facilities are no longer listed due to the state’s Catastrophic Emergency Declaration expiring on May 31.
