Warren defeats Ward for Morris School board post

Morris voters picked Kendall Warren as the representative for the Morris Public School Board Office No. 5 in Tuesday’s election. Warren defeated incumbent Philip Ward, 546 to 275.

There will be a runoff in the contest for County Commissioner District No. 2.  R.C. Morrow received a total of 426 votes, David Earhart received 278 and Steve Ward received 289.

All results are unofficial until Friday at 5 p.m.
