The Henryetta Police Department, with assistance from the District 25 Violent Task Force, is investigating a death in Henryetta.
A body was discovered Wednesday around 9 a.m. at a home in the 700 block of West Division. A roommate found Edwin Dominic Reid, 36, deceased in the home.
HPD Chief Steve Norman stated several bullet holes were found in the home, and the victim had also been shot.
The medical examiner will make a final determination as to the cause of death.
Toby Holuby, 26, was named a person of interest in the case. He was found later in a home in Schulter. Investigators were interviewing him late Wednesday evening.
“We’ve activated that task force, and that brought in a dozen investigators throughout the area and for small departments like Henryetta, that’s huge," Chief Norman said.
The department was also looking for other suspects in relation to the incident.
Homicides are very rare in Henryetta, Norman said. He urged residents to stay vigilant and be aware of what’s going on in their neighborhoods.
