PRESTON - The Preston Pirate varsity baseball team kicked off the 2018 fall season with a doubleheader sweep of the visiting Moss Pirates.

The Preston squad returned to action Tuesday afternoon, traveling to Braggs for a showdown with the host Braggs Wildcats.

The Pirates will also be in action this Thursday at Ripley for a 3-way battle with Ripley and Frontier and Friday at home in a doubleheader meeting with Cameron.

Thursday's road trip to Ripley will get started at 2 p.m., while Friday's home twinbill with Cameron will get underway at 4:30 p.m.
