Medical marijuana emergency rules approved

The Oklahoma Board of Health discussed and amended the emergency rules pertaining to medical marijuana usage in Oklahoma Tuesday. 

The board amended the emergency rules to include, prohibit the sale of smokeable marijuana products and require dispensaries to hire a pharmacist. 

The new rules might face litigation, suggested Julie Ezell, OSDH general counsel.
