Carlos Andres Morraz, 35, a former inmate at the Moore Detention Center, is now facing two felonious counts and has been transferred to Okmulgee County Jail.

According to court records, Morraz attacked a detention officer around 2:55 p.m. on June 28. He had swung and struck a detention officer, and during the scuffle both officer and detainee fell to the ground where Morraz attempted to place his hands around  the officer’s throat. Morraz then tried to choke the staff member, but was eventually restrained by other officers.
