A benefit softball tournament will be held at the Muscogee (Creek) Nation's Claude Cox Omniplex in Okmulgee later this month.

Proceeds from the event, which will take place July 27 and 28, will go to help the family with expenses in the treatment of 11-year old cancer patient, Victor Martinez.

Martinez, who attends Broken Arrow Public School, was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, also known as DIPG, an inoperable brain stem glioma, on March 23, 2018.
