Early voting announced for election

County voters are being reminded June 20 is the last day to request absentee ballots in time for for the June 26 State Federal and County election.

Applications must be received  by 5 p.m. at the Okmulgee County Election Board according to Secretary Ashley Carnes.

Those wishing to cast their votes early will have three opportunities to do so at the Okmulgee County Election Board, located on the first floor of the courthouse:

Thursday, June 21 - 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Friday, June 22 - 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 23 - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

On election day, June 26, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at your respective polling location. 

In-person voters must show proof of identity before receiving a ballot.
