Head Start Staff Help Prepare School For Summer Program

The Multicultural Summer Enrichment Program kicked off this week at the former  Okmulgee Elementary School located at 1614 E 9th St. Sessions are held Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program is open to all children ages 4 to 18. Workers from Okmulgee Head Start were at the building last week to help clean and decorate as part of the Tend to You Day. They, along with Program Director Rae Ann Wilson and other volunteers, cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed and hung decorations around the school.  Pictured from left are Isaac Brown, Mark Wilson, Rae Ann Willson,  Angie Anderson and Jasmine Metcalf.
