Continued Success

Former Schulter High School basketball standout Rikki Wolfe has guided the Sasakwa girls basketball team to back-to-back state tournament appearances in four years as head coach of the Lady Viking cage squad. In her first four years at Sasakwa, Wolfe has amassed a coaching record of 78 wins and 35 losses and has guided the Lady Vikings to the area tournament all four years. This past season, Wolfe accomplished something no other Sasakwa girls basketball coach has done in school history, lead the Lady Vikings to a state tournament victory, which Sasakwa did by defeating 6th-ranked Leedey 71-65 in the quarterfinals of the Class B state basketball championships March 1 in Yukon.
