MORRIS - The Beggs Golden Demons rallied from a 6-0 deficit here on Monday to keep their season record spotless after the first three games.

The host Morris Eagles took a 6-0 advantage after the first two innings, then the visiting Demons began their comeback with a pair of runs in the top of the third to cut the Morris lead to four, 6-2, after three and one-half innings.

The Beggs squad tallied a run in their half of the fifth, then erupted for seven runs in the top of the sixth to take over the lead at 10-6 with an inning and a half left in regulation. The seven-run sixth proved to be the difference in the county battle, as the Demons held on to defeat their county foes by a narrow 11-9 margin.
