Clifford Thomas ‘Tom’ Brock

May 21, 1944 - February 4, 2018

 Clifford Thomas “Tom” Brock passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his Tulsa residence.  He was 73 years of age.  Tom was born May 21, 1944, to Clifford Harrison and Helen (Thomas) Brock.  He was a 1962 graduate of Okmulgee High School where he played football and golf and was known as “Breakaway Brock”.  Tom later graduated from OSU Tech.  He served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam War, serving in Thailand.  He began his career with Explorer Pipeline, worked for PVC and retired from OCV.  He was an avid and accomplished fast pitch softball player, loved watching and playing golf, shooting pool and enjoyed dancing. Tom will be remembered by his generous and kindhearted ways.

He was preceded in death by his father and his infant twin brother.

Survivors include his sons, Charles Brock and wife Kimberly of Thompsons Station, Tenn. and Wade Brock and wife Kristen of Westfield, Mass.; mother, Helen Brock of Okmulgee; sister, Terri Bridges and husband Mike of Mounds; grandchildren, Jordan, Sydnie, Cameron and Aubree; nieces, Brandie Bell of Glenpool and Brooke Pingelton of Alva; and numerous aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews.

A Service to Celebrate Tom’s Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Hamilton officiating.  A reception will follow in the McClendon-Winters Life Celebration Center.  The family will have a private interment following the reception at the Okmulgee Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
