Okmulgee County Homeless Shelter to hold baked potato benefit Nov. 9 


OCHS Director Brenda Brewer and Administrative Assistant Janell Roberts have tickets ready for the OCHS benefit next Thursday. The Okmulgee County Homeless Shelter will hold a loaded baked potato benefit on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall, located on 4th Street, between Morton and Seminole. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner is from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $8 and are available at the Okmulgee County Homeless Shelter, 4th and Morton or at the OCHS Thrift Store, 6th and Porter. The potatoes will have real bacon bits or chopped beef, cheddar cheese, sour cream and chives. Dine-in or carry out is available. All proceeds will help the Okmulgee County Homeless Shelter in their work they do to help the community.
