Mary Ann Heintzelman Herrick

November 2, 2017

Mary Ann Heintzelman Herrick past away November 2, 2017, at Rebold Manor at the age of 86.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas L. and Goldie Marie Heintzelman; her husband, Elwood Eugene Herrick; and one son, John Nicholas Herrick.  She is survived by one son, Elwood E. Herrick, Jr.

Mary Ann grew up in Okmulgee and graduated from Okmulgee High School with the Class of 1950. She married Woody on June 26, 1954, at the Episcopal Church by Rev. G. C. Stutzer. They spent countless hours volunteering.  She was honored in the early 70s as Tulsa’s Volunteer of the Year.  They spent many years delivering Meals on Wheels to shut-ins in Okmulgee.

Mary Ann faithfully ran the Food Pantry at the United Methodist Church for fifteen years.  She was a committed member and was active in the United Methodist Women. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the FUMC Pantry.

A service to celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be held November 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

 

Sharron Jean Burwell

December 7, 1949 - October 31, 2017

Sharron Jean Burwell, a resident of rural Henryetta died Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at her home at the age of 67. She was born December 7, 1949, to Eugene M. Brownfield and Mollie Stutchman Brownfield.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2017, at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance and Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

 

Cleo G. Cox

December 29, 1920 - October 27, 2017

Cleo G. Cox, a former resident of Okemah, died Friday, October 27, 2017, in Oklahoma City at the age of 96. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017, at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.  

Bill Edward ‘Eddie’ Hennigan

January 19, 1943 - October 30, 2017

Bill Edward “Eddie” Hennigan, 74 year old Okmulgee resident, passed away October 30, 2017, in Tulsa.  He was born January 19, 1943, in Wichita, Kansas to B.E. and Annetta Faye (Johns) Hennigan. A Service to Celebrate Eddie’s Life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Fuller officiating. A reception will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Eddie’s memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Tulsa, 5840 S. Memorial Suite 212, Tulsa, OK 74145.
