Rising young trio The Sisters 3 has captured national attention after being named Country Gospel Group of the Year at the 2026 North American Country Music Association International Awards in Pigeon Forge.
The prestigious recognition marks a significant milestone for the group, whose heartfelt harmonies and faith-driven performances have earned them a growing fan base across the country. Known for their strong family values and authentic sound, the trio continues to gain momentum within the country gospel music scene.
Following their award win, The Sisters 3 have maintained a busy schedule, making guest appearances in and around Branson, a well-known destination for live country and gospel entertainment. They have also appeared on the popular television program Nashville Roadhouse Live, expanding their reach to audiences nationwide.
The group is set to return home in April for a special series of performances. The first three Saturdays of the month will feature The Sisters 3 performing alongside their home band at Hoffman Fellowship Center, giving local supporters an opportunity to celebrate their success firsthand.
Beyond the stage, the past week proved especially meaningful for the young performers. During NACMAI events, they spent time with respected figures in traditional country music, including Ron Williams, Leona Williams, Stevie Lee Woods, Con Hunley, The Malpass Brothers, David Wills, Ken Mellons, Dallas Wayne, Devin Callahan and Bobby Rice, along with musicians associated with the Grand Ole Opry. The trio described the experience as unforgettable.
“What a week it’s been for The Sisters 3,” the group shared. “Getting to spend time with Ron Williams and his amazing mom, Leona Williams, and so many others has truly been something special. From the music to the stories, the laughter to the memories – we’ve soaked up every moment, and it is just the beginning.”
Leona Williams, a revered voice in traditional country music, has taken a particular interest in the group, affectionately referring to the girls as her “little music granddaughters.” She also compared the youngest member to a young Loretta Lynn – high praise from a legendary figure in the genre.
Adding to the excitement of the week, the girls were given Silver Season Passes to Dollywood, the renowned theme park owned by country icon Dolly Parton. They were also given the unique opportunity to tour Parton’s personal tour bus, an experience they described as both inspiring and unforgettable.
Reflecting on their journey, the trio emphasized the deeper meaning behind their recent experiences. “It’s more than just music – it’s friendships, family and moments like these that remind us how blessed we are to be on this path. We’ll never forget this week.”
With a major award now to their credit, increasing national exposure and mentorship from established country artists, The Sisters 3 are poised for a bright future – one defined by tradition, talent and heart.
