Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is extending an open invitation to the community for its Holy Week and Easter season services, offering a series of meaningful gatherings that reflect on faith, renewal and celebration.
With the message “All Are Welcome,” the church will host several special services throughout April and May, marking some of the most significant observances in the Christian calendar.
Good Friday service will be held on April 3, at 12 p.m., a solemn observance reflecting on the crucifixion.
The celebration continues with Easter Sunday on April 5 at 10:30 a.m., one of the most anticipated services of the year, celebrating the resurrection and message of hope central to the Christian faith.
Later in the season, the church will observe the Fourth Sunday of Easter on April 26 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Pentecost on May 24 at 10:30 a.m., which commemorates the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Church leaders encourage individuals and families from across the community to attend any or all of the services, whether they are long-time members or simply seeking a place to worship during the Easter season.
Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is located at 213 N. Seminole Ave. in Okmulgee.
