Athletes from across the region converged on historic Harmon Stadium on Friday, March
27, as Okmulgee High School hosted the 2026 Okmulgee High School Track Meet, showcasing speed, endurance and field event excellence across a full slate of competition. With
17 boys events and 16 girls events completed, the meet featured a deep and competitive field led by powerhouse programs, while Okmulgee County schools – Okmulgee, Dewar, Preston, Schulter and Wilson – turned in several notable performances on their home stage.
Despite facing larger metro-area programs, Okmulgee County athletes delivered several standout performances across both track and field events.

• 6th – Josi Collins (13.76) Okmulgee’s depth helped propel the Bulldogs to a top-7 finish in the boys standings and top-5 finish in the girls division, highlighting a balanced team effort.

• 8th – Steven Matthews (21.74) Girls 800m Run
• 1st – Aaliyah Hayden (2:55.60) Preston’s girls squad turned in one of the strongest showings among county teams, finishing 6th overall, fueled by Hayden’s gold-medal performance. Meanwhile, Cameron Turner finished mid-pack in a deep field in the Boys 100m Dash.

• 5th – Eliana Williamson (13.92) Wilson made a strong impact in hurdle events, capturing multiple first-place finishes and finishing 11th in the girls team standings.

Carter Brown competed in a competitive field in the Boys 800m Run, participating in the finals. Meanwhile, in the Girls 200m Dash, multiple entries contributed to team depth in sprint events, including a 1:57.85 time in the Girls 4×200 Relay and a 4:39.38 time in the Girls 4×400 Relay.
