The Okmulgee Community Theatre is set to bring mystery, humor and a touch of the supernatural to the stage with its upcoming production of “Honeymoon at Graveside Manor: A Ghostly Farce,” written by Pat Cook.

The production will be staged at the historic Orpheum Theatre, located at 210 W. 7th St. in downtown Okmulgee, with performances scheduled for Friday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Blending elements of comedy and ghostly intrigue, “Honeymoon at Graveside Manor” promises an entertaining evening for audiences of all ages. Known for its fast-paced dialogue and humorous twists, the play centers around a newly married couple whose honeymoon takes an unexpected turn in a mysterious and haunted manor.

The cast features a diverse group of local talent portraying an array of lively characters:

• Jeb Cook as Tyler Thorncroft

• Curt Rose as Myron Thorncroft

• Violet Clinger as Marian Thorncroft

• Jessie Brydges as Sophie

• Tanya Henry as Madge Perkins

• Jesse Hanks as Danvers

• Nicole Rains as Judy

• Brighton Irwin as Suzanne

• Katirce “Kat” Sampson as The Woman/Clarissa

• Josh Hunt as Officer Blair Each cast member brings their own energy and personality to the production, contributing to what organizers describe as a fun, engaging theatrical experience filled with surprises.

Admission is priced at $10 for adults, with children 12 and under admitted free, making the show an affordable outing for families and community members.

Presented by the Okmulgee Community Theatre, the production continues the organization’s longstanding tradition of providing quality live entertainment while showcasing local performers. The Orpheum Theatre provides the perfect backdrop for the play’s eerie yet comedic setting.
