This Easter, Cornerstone Foursquare Church, located at 617 N. Oklahoma Ave. in Okmulgee, invites the community to a unique and hope-filled celebration centered on the theme of Jesus, our “Storm Chaser.”
The special Easter service will focus on the message that no matter the storms people face in life – whether emotional, spiritual or physical – Jesus meets them right where they are. Rather than avoiding life’s difficulties, the service emphasizes that Christ actively pursues and rescues those in the middle of their struggles.
Alongside the main service, families can expect a variety of activities designed especially for children. These will include fun, engaging experiences that help communicate the Easter story in a way kids can understand and enjoy.
Pastor Mickey Baldwin concluded, “The goal is to create an atmosphere where people of all ages feel welcomed, encouraged and reminded of the hope found in the resurrection of Jesus.”
