Catholic Churches to hold Holy Week services

St. Anthony Catholic Church and Uganda Martyrs Church have announced upcoming Holy Week and Easter Sunday services.

Good Friday, April 3, will begin with Stations of the Cross at 12 noon at St. Anthony Church, commemorating Christ’s journey to the cross. Later that evening, the Good Friday Service will be held at 7 p.m. at Uganda Martyrs Church, focusing on the Passion of Christ.

The celebration of the Resurrection begins with the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4, at 8:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Church.

The week will culminate with Easter Sunday on April 5, celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter Masses will be held at Uganda Martyrs Church at 8:30 a.m. and St. Anthony Church at 11 a.m.
