More Okmulgee County athletes are being recognized for their outstanding performances on the hardwood, as additional Heartland Conference honors have been announced for the 2025-26 basketball season. Schools across the county – including Morris and Henryetta -continue to showcase the depth of talent in the area, with several players earning All-Conference and Honorable Mention recognition.
The Morris Lady Eagles were well represented on the All-Conference list, highlighting a strong season for the program.
Leading the way is Taylor Phillips, who earned All-Conference honors following an impressive year as one of the team’s top contributors. She is joined on the All-Conference team by Shelby Washington and Kaylynn Fixico, giving Morris three selections among the conference’s elite.
The Lady Eagles also saw additional recognition, as Alayna Fixico and Kaylynn Lukenbill were named Honorable Mention selections, further emphasizing the team’s depth and consistent play throughout the season.
The Henryetta Lady Knights also made their presence felt in the Heartland Conference honors, with a group of young standouts earning recognition.
Freshmen Aubrey Taylor and Kynlee Wynne were both named All-Conference selections, signaling a bright future for the Lady Knights program. Their early success at the varsity level speaks to both their individual talent and the continued development within the program.
They are joined by juniors Jordyn Goodman and Zoe Boatright, who also received All-Conference honors, providing a balanced mix of youth and experience among Henryetta’s top performers.
On the boys side, the Morris Eagles were likewise recognized for their efforts during the 202526 campaign.
Steven Bender and Braden Sparks each earned All-Conference honors after standout seasons that helped lead Morris in a competitive conference schedule.
Jax Finch was also honored, receiving Honorable Mention recognition for his contributions to the Eagles’ success throughout the year.
These latest honors add to a growing list of postseason recognition for Okmulgee County athletes, reinforcing the area’s reputation for producing high-level basketball talent. From seasoned upperclassmen to emerging freshmen stars, the 2025-26 season showcased both experience and promise across multiple programs.
