Beggs Public Schools will host the annual Beggs JH Invitational Track Meet on Tuesday, March 24, at Tate Field. The event is set to start at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to bring together 27 teams from across the region, including schools such as Henryetta, Sapulpa, Glenpool, Kellyville, Preston, Schulter, Twin Hills, Tulsa Central, Broken Arrow, Wewoka and many others.
The meet will showcase junior high athletes competing in a full slate of track and field events, highlighting both individual talent and team performance while fostering sportsmanship among participating schools.
Due to recent tornado damage in the area, attendees are advised that fan parking will be located on the south side of the football field. Visitors should stay in the designated parking areas to ensure safety and accessibility for all participants and spectators.
Despite these challenges, Beggs Public Schools remains committed to hosting a successful and organized meet, providing student-athletes with an opportunity to compete and represent their schools with pride.
