Preston Jump Rope Team to host showcase March 20

The Preston Jump Rope Team is inviting the community to an exciting evening of high-energy fun, athletic skill and community support during their Jump Rope Team Showcase Fundraiser on Friday, March 20, at the Jim Waller Event Center.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the team’s showcase performance beginning at 6:15 p.m. The event will highlight the hard work, dedication and impressive jump rope routines performed by members of the Preston Jump Rope Team.

The showcase promises to be a lively event for families and community members alike, featuring talented student athletes demonstrating speed, coordination and creative routines that make jump rope both a sport and an entertaining performance.

The event will take place at the Jim Waller Event Center, 10165 Pringey Ave. in Preston.

Admission is $5 per person, and organizers say the evening will include more than just the performance. Guests will also be able to participate in a silent auction featuring themed baskets, providing another opportunity to support the team.

Food and refreshments will also be available during the event. Attendees can purchase walking tacos for $5, along with soda or water for $1.

Those who are unable to attend but still want to support the program can make donations through CashApp at $prestonjumprope.

The fundraiser helps support the Preston Jump Rope Team’s activities, equipment and travel opportunities, allowing these young athletes to continue developing their skills and representing their school and community.

Organizers encourage residents from across the area to come out, enjoy an evening of entertainment and cheer on the talented jumpers.

With exciting performances, food, auctions and plenty of community spirit, the Preston Jump Rope Team Showcase Fundraiser is shaping up to be a fun-filled night that the whole family can enjoy while supporting a great cause.
