Darrell A. Frost

Darrell Albert Frost, 60, of Henryetta, passed away March 4, 2026, in Tulsa. He was born on December 10, 1965, In Muskogee to Albert and Sarah (Hunter) Frost. Darrell was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Denise of 15 years. He worked as a skilled carpenter and cabinet/ furniture builder for many years. Darrell was a military kid, and his family made a home in Warner, where he attended Warner School. He met his wife Denise in school, where they fell in love. Later, life took them different directions, but in 2011, they were reunited and married. When he was not working in his shop or playing music, you could find him mowing or gardening or walking his dogs. He also loved spending time with his granddaughter Hannah. All though ruff around the edges he was also a kind and loving man. If you knew Darrell, you knew he loved to talk.

He was survived by his wife, Denise Frost; sons, Johnny Frost (Felica) of El Reno and Daniel Frost of Tulsa; stepsons, Michael (Sara) of Henryetta, Nicholas (Jessica) December 10, 1965 – March 4, 2026

Gordon of Texas and Chance (Kaley) Gordon of Okmulgee; stepdaughter, Michelle Chaney of Oklahoma City; honorary son, James (Tator) Box JR of Kiefer; grandchildren, (my best friend) Hannah Key, Kacey Gordon, Chevy Frost and Colby Frost; and sister, Tina Frost of Broken Arrow; along with a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Sarah Frost and daughter Samantha Langston.

Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Frost, Nicholas Gordon, Chance Gordon, Michael Key, LeRoy Kaiser, James (Tator) Box Jr., David Acuff, Darren Staley and Will Cook.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, March 7, at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel.
