Olivia Beaver pages for Rep. Fetgatter

Olivia Beaver pages for Rep. Fetgatter

Olivia Beaver, a junior at Preston High School, paged for Rep. Scott Fetgatter, R-Okmulgee, from Feb. 23-26 at the State Capitol.

Olivia, from Morris, is the daughter of Del Beaver.

During their time at the Capitol, House pages run messages to legislators while they are in the chamber debating policy and voting on measures. They can attend committee or other meetings, and they help in the lawmakers’ Cap- itol offices. Pages also participate in a mock session, in which they learn legislative procedure and how to write and present legislation.

“It was a great pleasure to have Olivia page at the House of Representatives this week,” Fetgatter said. “She already has many honors and accolades, and I’m glad to help her add some firsthand knowledge of the Legislature and state government. I know she’ll do very well in her future endeavors.”

Olivia is the vice president of the 2027 Class, a member of the National Honor Society, and she is taking concurrent enrollment classes at the College of the Muscogee Nation. She’s also the 2026 Junior Miss Indian Oklahoma, the 2024-25 Junior Miss Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and the Muscogee Nation 2025 Youth Council Member of the Year.

Olivia says she would like to finish high school with a diploma as well as a degree and certificate in the Muscogee language from the College of the Muscogee Nation. After high school, she plans to attend Dartmouth college to study tribal law.

Scott Fetgatter serves District 16 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. His district includes Parts of Muskogee, Okmulgee and Tulsa counties.
