Okmulgee has two young men who’ve earned statewide recognition – now they need their community behind them.
Elijah Dawson and JaCari Hammon have been nominated to play in the Oklahoma All-State Basketball Game, an honor reserved for standout high school athletes across the state. Selection reflects performance, work ethic and leadership both on and off the court.
Both students are A & B scholars known for their character, respect and commitment to their faith and community. As sons of single mothers, their families are asking the village to step in and help cover participation costs.
Each player must raise $600 to secure his roster spot.
