Ann (Hughey) Sackett, a resident of Dallas, passed this life on February 18, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born on May 16, 1934, in Okmulgee to Melvin John and Roberta (Woods) Hughey.
Ann graduated from Weleetka High School and furthered her education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked as a Medical Technologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and was also a devoted homemaker. Ann was full of spirit and talent both on and off the tennis court.
She is survived by her family: daughters, Karen Sackett-Akins and husband Dan, and Susan Sackett-Wilk and husband Greg; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Hannah Kathryn Wilk, Andy Akins, Sam Akins, Becca Akins, Melissa Dennis, and Travis Hughey.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka, under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
