City of Okmulgee announces President’s Day closures

Okmulgee residents are being advised of upcoming city office closures in observance of Presidents’ Day next week.

All City Hall offices and Public Works operations will be closed Monday, Feb. 16. Emergency services, including the police and fire departments, will remain in operation during the holiday.

Sanitation services will operate mostly on their regular schedule. All polycart customers, both residential and commercial, will have normal service. However, dumpster sanitation service normally scheduled for Monday will be delayed one day and will run Tuesday, Feb. 17. Normal city operations are set to resume Tuesday, Feb. 17.
