Cub Scout Pack 102 is participating in the Scouting for Food Neighborhood Food Drive. The Scouts are collecting donations of non-perishable food items like rice, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned fruit and canned vegetables, etc. to be donated to a local food pantry.
“With the recent harsh cold weather and snow, we know the local food pantries may be low on food,” Lions Den Leader Carrie Marek said. “The Cub Scouts are excited to be doing the Scouting for Food service project.”
Donations can be dropped off at the Okmulgee Times, or if you need them picked up, call 918-857-6112.
Cub Scout Pack 102 meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Okmulgee. If you have boy or girl that is in kindergarten through 5th grade interested in joining scouting, come join us. For more information or questions, call 918-857-6112.
