Preston Jump Rope Team to host Trivia Night

The Preston Jump Rope Team is inviting the community to put their thinking caps on and support one of Preston’s most dynamic student programs with a lively Trivia Night Fundraiser set for Saturday, at Tavern 56.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and promises an evening filled with friendly competition, laughter, prizes and community spirit – all in support of the high-energy jump rope team that has become a point of pride for Preston Public Schools and the surrounding area.

Teams of four can participate for $120 per table, while additional team members may be added for $40 each. Individual players are also welcome to join the fun for $40. Participants will compete across multiple trivia categories, testing their knowledge and quick thinking for a chance to win prizes in each category or claim the coveted Grand Champion Trophy at the end of the night.

In addition to the trivia competition, the fund- raiser will feature a variety of silent auction items, giving attendees even more chances to support the team while taking home unique prizes.

At the heart of the fundraiser – and the jump rope program itself – is Coach Vicky Graham, whose passion, dedication and enthusiasm have helped shape the Preston Jump Rope Team into a standout student activity. Under Graham’s leadership, the team has grown not only in skill and performance, but also in confidence, teamwork and discipline.

The Preston Jump Rope Team is known for its fast-paced routines, athletic precision and crowd-pleasing performances that combine fitness, coordination and creativity. Beyond competitions and performances, the program emphasizes personal growth, encouraging students to set goals, support one another and take pride in representing their school and community.

Fundraisers such as Trivia Night play a crucial role in sustaining the program. Proceeds help cover travel expenses, equipment, uniforms, competition fees and other costs associated with maintaining a high-quality team experience for student athletes.

Community members, businesses, families and trivia enthusiasts are encouraged to attend, form a team, or donate auction items to help make the event a success. Whether participants come for the competition, the prizes, or simply a night out supporting local students, the fundraiser is designed to be enjoyable for all.

Those interested in registering a team or seeking additional information about the Trivia Night Fundraiser may contact Coach Vicky Graham by email at vgraham@preston.k12.ok.us.
