The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) has released district tournament assignments for the 2025-26 high school basketball postseason, outlining where teams across the state will compete as they begin the championship series in Classes A and B.
District meetings for Classes A and B were scheduled on Monday, where brackets were to be drawn and officials selected. Official playoff brackets, including game times, will be released later this week on the OSSAA website.
Several Okmulgee County schools are featured prominently in the assignments, with Dewar, Wilson and Schulter all learning their postseason destinations.
— Dewar set to host Class A, Area IV
Dewar High School will serve as a district host site in Class A, Area IV, placing the Dragons in a favor-

The regional main site for Area IV will be Quinton, with sub-site games also scheduled at Dewar, depending on bracket outcomes. Area IV winners will ultimately advance to the Area Tournament in Wilburton, continuing the road toward the state tournament.
— Wilson competing in Class B-I, Area IV Wilson has been placed in Class B-I, Area IV, competing in District 8, which will be hosted by Depew. The Tigers will face Covington-Douglas as part of district play.
Following district competition, the regional main site for Area IV will be Glencoe, with Earlsboro serving as a sub-site. Teams advancing from the regionals will move on to the Area Tournament in Cleveland, one of the final steps before state qualification.
— Schulter slotted into Class B-I, Area III Schulter High School will compete in Class B-I, Area III, assigned to District 2, which will be hosted by Kiowa. Schulter will square off against Roff in district tournament play.
Regional games for Area III will be split between Roff as the main site and Moss as a sub-site, with advancing teams heading to the Area Tournament in Prague.
-Official starting times for district, regional and area games will be listed on the finalized OSSAA brackets, which are expected to be released no later than Thursday. All playoff brackets will be posted exclusively online and will not be mailed to schools.
