Twin Hills Volunteer Fire Department works hard to protect the surrounding area from the dangers of fire and other emergencies. In addition to protecting the immediate area, the department also assists neighboring fire departments and, in turn, receives help from them in emergency situations.
Robert Pinkston serves as Fire Chief. Like other volunteer fire departments, Twin Hills firefighters complete their life-saving missions with a very limited budget.
The Twin Hills Volunteer Fire Department operates from a 40’x120’ building on Twin Hills Road.
The department units are comprised of three grass rigs, 4×4 1-ton trucks, a pair of 3-tanker units and a pair of brush trucks. The men and their equipment are the first line of defense against fire.
Having partners in the area willing to step up and help the Twin Hills community is a true blessing.
