Wilson dropped a 76-64 decision to Muskogee on Wednesday despite a game-high 20 points from Ke’shon Shelburn.
The Tigers answered an early 9-2 Muskogee surge with a 7-0 run to even the score and stayed within striking distance throughout. Wilson played its best basketball in the third quarter, edging the Roughers 19-18 in the period and keeping pressure on heading into the final frame.
Muskogee ultimately created separation late, using an 11-3 run after building a 58-51 lead to put the game out of reach.
Wilson showed balance offensively and toughness inside. The Tigers hit 7 of 21 three-pointers (33 percent), with Alec Ganote and Ke’shon Shelburn each connecting multiple times from deep. Inside, Wilson controlled the glass with 27 rebounds, led by Andrew Wilson’s eight boards.
Ball movement was another bright spot, as the Tigers recorded 13 assists on 24 made baskets, with Jacquorrie Shelburn dishing out a team-high six.

The Tigers trailed by as many as 11 points early and were down 22-11 before igniting a 13-point run to seize momentum. Even after going into halftime trailing 32-28, Wilson stayed composed and finished strong.
The fourth quarter proved decisive, as the Tigers outscored Bixby JV 15-9 while shooting an efficient 6-for-10 from the field.
Ke’shon Shelburn again led the way with 17 points, while Wilson dominated the paint on both ends. The Tigers converted 16 of 30 attempts inside the arc and overwhelmed Bixby JV on the boards with 36 rebounds. Andrew Wilson was especially active underneath, pulling down 12 rebounds.
Team play remained a theme, with Wilson tallying 15 assists on 23 made field goals. Shelburn also led in that category, handing out six assists.
