Brushes, Bonding and a Big Cause

A fun, family-friendly paint party is coming to Okmulgee next month, bringing creativity, community and a good cause together under one roof.

Gallup’s Goodies, God’s Glory and TAOO’s Leadership Squad will host a Paint Party fundraiser on Friday, March 7, from 12-4 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Okmulgee. The event is designed as a relaxed community gathering while raising funds to support the ongoing activities and outreach efforts of TAOO’s Leadership Squad.

The fundraiser is being held in partnership with 4G, which is teaming up with TAOO’s Leadership Squad to help raise financial support for leadership development, service projects and other initiatives the group provides throughout the year.

Organizers say the paint party is open to all ages and skill levels, making it an ideal outing for families, friends and anyone looking for a creative way to spend a Friday afternoon. Participants will enjoy guided painting projects, time to relax and create and the chance to connect with others in the community.

The event is also kid-friendly, with special children’s stations offering games, arts and crafts activities, and additional surprises to keep younger attendees engaged throughout the afternoon. Snacks and drinks will be available from the on-site Snack Shack during the event.

Registration and payment are required to attend, and participants are encouraged to sign up and submit payment no later than Feb. 28. Full details, pricing information and registration are available through the event’s Google Form, accessible via the QR code on the event flyer.

Proceeds from extra sales at the paint party will directly benefit TAOO’s Leadership Squad, helping fund programs and activities that support leadership growth, service opportunities and positive community involvement. Organizers say the partnership with 4G has been instrumental in making the fundraiser possible.

Community members are invited to come paint, relax, enjoy refreshments and make lasting memories, all while supporting a meaningful local cause.

For more information and registration details, interested participants are encouraged to review the event flyer on The Academy of Okmulgee or Gallup’s Goodies, God’s Glory Facebook pages or at the Okmulgee Times office and complete the online sign-up prior to the Feb. 28 deadline.
