The Patrons Bank High School Basketball Invitational, held Jan. 19-21, delivered three days of competitive basketball and highlighted both the depth of talent among area programs and the strong community support behind the event.

Boys and girls teams from across the region converged on Preston’s Jim Waller Event Center for the mid-week tournament, which featured programs including Morris, Preston, Wilson, Dewar, Silo, Allen, Earlsboro, Red Oak and Wewoka. Tournament organizers credited the smooth operation of the event to cooperation between schools, officials, volunteers and sponsors. The mid-week format allowed teams to compete ahead of weekend weather concerns while still providing a high-quality tournament experience.
